We're thinking of starting the film with an animation/archive sequence of all the positive things we humans have done with oil.

Obvious stuff like transport, electricity, global communication, internet, modern medicine, fertilisers etc. But also quirky stuff like amplifying Bob Marley, reproducing Shakespeare in a million languages, robot dogs and Ipods. Please send suggestions. Straightforward, bizarre, populist, obscure, all welcome.
